A Shore Without Memory | Solo for Vibraphone & Tape
A Shore Without Memory evokes the silent vastness of a coastline suspended in dream. Time stretches across still water; fragments of recollection wash ashore and recede before they can settle. Scored for solo acoustic guitar with suspended cymbal, the work unfolds as a slow meditation on resonance, decay, and absence. The guitar voice—sparse, luminous, and lyrical—emerges from waves of natural harmonics, static pedal tones, and isolated gestures. Like memory itself, its architecture is delicate, unstable, and always vanishing.
